French trade magazine Auto-Infos highlights our electric brake caliper range

The French trade publication Auto-Infos has devoted an article to our entry into the braking system with a range of electrically actuated brake calipers. The magazine points out that, with this move, we are extending our traditional scope of engine and timing components towards the wheel and brake family.

Beyond the engine

Our catalogue has been built up over decades around timing and transmission and engine components. The addition of brake calipers, brake motors and switches is part of a growth strategy based on complete product families, with technical data published in TecDoc and manufacturing at our plant in Sant Andreu de la Barca.

Details of the new range

  • Brake calipers: 220 newly added part numbers, including electrically actuated versions for vehicles fitted with an electromechanical parking brake.
  • Brake motors: a new product group that completes coverage of the caliper and actuator assembly.
  • Switches: the third group added to the catalogue, within the same expansion plan.
  • Quality: in-house manufacturing with 100% OEM quality, under ISO 9001:2015 and with EAC certification.
  • Data coverage: technical information for the new part numbers published in TecDoc for consultation by distributors and workshops.

International outlook

The Auto-Infos article comes as part of the attention the European technical press is paying to our activity following our debut at Automechanika Frankfurt. With 80% of our production destined for export and a presence in more than 30 countries, the development of new product families strengthens our offering to distributors and buying groups outside Spain.

The new part numbers are available for consultation and ordering on our B2B platform (b2b.ijsgroup.es). Ranges 20, 21 and 22 of our catalogue will be presented from 8 to 12 September at Automechanika Frankfurt, Hall 5, stand C66.
