We deliver technical training to COPIMA's teams

Published on

Last week, our Export Director, Adrián Pérez Castillo, delivered technical training to more than 25 COPIMA professionals, both in person and remotely. The session brought together the sales, purchasing, after-sales service and technical sales teams, and was followed by a round of visits to trade counter customers.

Nine product families

During the day we presented nine families from our catalogue of in-house manufactured products: timing chain kits, pulleys, engine covers, oil pumps, wheel bearings, tensioners and idlers, camshafts and VVT valves. The session focused on day-to-day work at the point of sale, from identifying the part to presenting the case to the workshop.

Three guidelines for the trade counter

The COPIMA team has summarised the training in three working guidelines:

  • Identify before selling: vehicle, engine, part number and confirmed requirement.
  • Propose a consistent repair: compare the kit contents as well as the price.
  • Present the case clearly: application, contents, documented quality and total cost.

Documented quality is backed by our ISO 9001:2015 certification and by the technical data we publish in TecDoc, which allow the distributor to verify the application of each part number before the sale.

Visits to trade counter customers

After the session, we accompanied the COPIMA team on a round of visits to their trade counter customers, where we received very positive feedback on the quality of our parts. We would like to thank COPIMA for organising the day and for the participation of all its teams.

The part numbers for these product families, together with their technical documentation, can be consulted on our B2B platform (b2b.ijsgroup.es).
